Your junior year is the most important year of your high school career. It determines all of your college classes and even if you get into college. So, I am going to do this a little bit different and if you are not or will not be a junior this year and is looking for […]
Welcome back! This post was a little bit delayed because I had been a little busy all weekend. But, my other posts are scheduled and ready to be posted! Heads up that I will not post next week because I will be having longer practice days and senior stuff. So let’s get into today’s Motivation Monday!
I like this because this is how I remember to do stuff I want to do. For instance, I started my blog for me! The readers do not matter to me. If you want to start a blog or YouTube go for it! Do it for you! This school year you should go by this saying! It will make some choices easier to make!
School is rolling back around and some people, like me, wants to be organized and start planning but you do not want to spend $40 on a planner. Here are some stores to get Lilly Pulitzer Planners for a cheaper price.
Under The Carolina Moon
Under the Carolina Moon has the small, large, and jumbo agendas. The small is $24, the large is $30, and the jumbo is $34. The great thing about getting an agenda from them, is that you can add your monogram on it for the same price.
Amazon has some Lilly Planner, also! They are sold by Lilly but they are cheaper. These are between $24-$25.
Dillard’s have many more planners and designs but I picked this one because the print is my favorite. This is a medium agenda and the price is $24. Dillard’s also have the large and jumbo ones for $30 (large) and $35 (jumbo).
Thanks for reading! Comment below your favorite place to get your Lilly agenda.
Hey guys! So a few weeks ago, I posted a Ninth Grade Tips and Tricks. If you haven’t read it yet, I’ll have it linked here. Today, I will be writing about Tenth Grade Tips and Tricks. It was requested so I am doing it for you all!
Grades, Grades, Grades
Your grades are important during your tenth grade year. This year determines your classes for your junior year. Trust me it will help!
Get Even MORE Involved
Okay! So I know in my last one I told you guys to get involved. But if you didn’t in 9th grade, please do it now. Colleges love to see your extracurricular activities on your applications.
Think about colleges
Think about what schools you want to go to after high school. Think about what you want to do after high school. Doing it now, gives you time to research what you want to do. It is very beneficial, trust me.
Befriend your Guidance Counselor
Since the last tip was to look for colleges, then you need to start communicating with your guidance counselor. Talk to them about standardize tests that you need to take. Talk to them about upcoming college festivities that’s are coming up.
Take ACT or PSAT
Lastly, take the ACT or PSAT. I haven’t taken the PSAT, and I am probably to old to take it, but I still recommend you guys to take it. I’ve taken the ACT twice and will be taking it again my senior year.
Thank you guys for reading today’s post! If you have any tips comment them down below!
So last week, I revieced my Day Designer that I ordered off of Amazon. A week later and I already have the rest of the year planned out. So I am going to start this thing called ” Plan with Me.” So let’s get started.
In honor of me being a senior this year, I am going to tell you guys 12 things I’ve learned from kindergarten to 11th grade.
- Nap time was the best time
- In elementary, your bestfriend was REALLY your bestfriend
- The classes will get harder
- All the supplies you need in K-8 you will not need 9-12
- Be friendly, you’ll have more chances of people liking you
- In high school, everyone hates everyone
- You will have some nice teacher and you will have some really messed up ones
- HS Guidance counsel will be your bestfriend
- School lunches are nasty in high school
- Being the “new girl” isn’t so bad
- College Application process is hard
- Stay out of trouble
Thanks for reading! These 12 things are all the stuff I learned from kindergarten to my 11the grade year. Unfortunately, I have one more year in high school so I have one more thing to add to this list. Really cannot believe my 13 years of school is almost up! It’s going to be bitter sweet.
